1995 QUINTA DOS CANAISWINEMAKER COMMENTS:Extremely aromatic, when this wine is poured, the scent of wild cherries is immediately apparent. The bouquet offers a face-full of cherry, plum, spice, earth and chocolate. Slightly sweet, the wine tastes of ripe spiced plum and chocolate, with distinct raspberry on the finish. The medium tannins are in keeping with Cockburn's estimate of a 10-12 year bottle maturity period. Appellation: Porto |
